Jakarta International Velodrome is a sporting facility located at Rawamangun, East Jakarta, Indonesia



Jakarta International Velodrome
In 1973, the Rawamangun Velodrome was first inaugurated by the Governor of Jakarta at the time, Ali Sadikin. Velodrome in the form of an outdoor track with a track length of 400 meters was also used for the SEA Games event in Indonesia. Then the Rawamangun Velodrome was renovated in 2016 and completed in 2018 by PT Jakarta Propertindo for the 2018 Asian Games and Asian Paragames and is now known as the Jakarta International Velodrome. On August 15, 2018, the Jakarta International Velodrome was inaugurated by the Governor of DKI Jakarta Province, Anies Rasyid Baswedan Ph. D.
Now, the Jakarta International Velodrome is the best certified indoor track cycling venue category 1 from the Union Cyclist Internationale (UCI), has a bicycle track length of 250 meters. The capacity of the grandstand building is 2,050 seats and has a building area of 16,000m2. Reviewing the existing supporting facilities, the Jakarta International Velodrome can be used for various non-competition track bike events such as gatherings, concerts, etc.
